Linda Siete joins Elgin Area Chamber staff

“We are very happy to welcome Linda to the Chamber,” said Carol Gieske, CEO/President of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce. “Linda is a valuable addition to our Chamber staff. As a long-time community leader, she is established and highly active within a wide variety of local Elgin area organizations and the Hispanic community. She excels in building strong relationships and her wide range of networking contacts will be invaluable in connecting and strengthening our area businesses as well as reaching out in the community to foster engagement.”
Siete, the former general manager of Reflejos Publications, received her Associate’s Degree from Elgin Community College and holds her BA in Business Management from Judson University in Elgin. Her professional experiences with a promotion and marketing background have led her to many leadership roles and community recognitions, including a Community Service Award from Centro de Informacion and a Lasting Impact Award from Elgin Community College, among others. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ecker Center for Mental Health and the Gail Borden Library Foundation. In addition, she is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce.
